I'm hopeless with social media sometimes.

You are to be congratulated for the steps you have taken and the wherewithal to be able to develop and modify a plan instead of just spinning your wheels and suffering.

I wish you luck and look forward to learning from your journey.

Thanks Sarah! That really means a lot 😊 I’m glad you appreciate the iterative nature of it! I don’t want to just fall back into the same loops as before, I want to keep building higher ✨

All the best with the leap you have taken! I am sure you will find your feet.

Interestingly the sentiments you shared in this post also inspired me to start writing here - and actually inspired one of my first ever posts - about making the leap and "voting with your feet": https://open.substack.com/pub/zantafakari/p/2?r=p7wqp&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

And on a second serendipitous note, this is the 2nd time I have come across Maslow this week - the first time being @Collin Kauri's post here: https://open.substack.com/pub/laughing/p/the-qualia-age?r=p7wqp&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web - which describes a societal level shift in Maslow terms.

I think you might find them interesting reads!

All the best for your recalibration.

Thank you very much! Appreciate your support and taking the time to read it 😊. I liked your article on thinking with your feet. I think that we have an innate intuitive drive to put ourselves into situations of comfort vs discomfort. The problem is that many people (as referenced in Collin's piece, thanks for sharing) are stuck at a 7/10 level. This level is perhaps not quite uncomfortable enough to drive change, but also not quite enough to lead to self-actualization.
